Season of Savings!

It's been a long while since my last update, but there is a very good reason for that! I am introducing the first ever Season of Savings! One of a kind, exclusive to Moonlight Eternal, accept no imitations.

Let me explain what I have in mind. The Season of Savings begins September 1st. I will hold a very special promotion to get the Season started! Keep checking back. At the end of the entry, look at the list of links. These will be very handy.

I understand that things are tough. The experts can say what they want, but all of us know that we can't wait until the last moment and hope things get better before doing our holiday shopping. The best ways to do our shopping without emptying our pocket books is really quite simple: shopping early and layaway. I'm beginning the Season of Savings September 1 for a reason. It is easier to spend $100 in September, October and November, rather than spend $300 all at once in December. If you're shopping with a credit card, it will be easier to make payments on $100 a month, rather than having to pay everything in December. Gifts aren't what make the Season so special, but you'll still have to worry about holiday dinners, hostess gifts for holiday parties, and of course the decorations which make the season so magical.

In essence, I am striving to provide you with a shopping experience that is comfortable, easy, and affordable! There are quite a few ways I'm going to do to ensure this. One, from September 1 until December 1, I will be offering layaway for all purchases over $50. I will do my best to work with you on a payment plan that works for both of us. I will provide more information on how to do this on my website and my shop.

I am also going to put a new set of holiday policies up. Custom orders are all 10% off, and they are available for layaway. However, the down payment is not refundable. I use the down payment to pay for the components I will need to make your piece. I can and will provide you with a quote of the total and down payment, and if you would like to use layaway, I can give you the details for that, too, all of this up front, before any payments are made. I will not accept orders--or payments--if I don't believe I can reasonably create the item you want, so please don't feel like you are 'locked in' if you want to cancel your order. Like I said, the down payment is not refundable, but you will have plenty of time to review what I have come up with before I request payment, and if you change your mind, that is absolutely okay.

I will only accept custom holiday orders until November 15. Custom items are made with care, from the initial design to the finished product. I can not and will not be rushed, because this will negatively impact the final creation. International customers, please contact me for cut-off dates, as they will vary.

Gift wrap is absolutely free. If you'd like to see what I have, please contact me. I have wrapping paper for holidays other than Christmas. If you ask for gift wrap with no specification, I will use gold or silver paper. If you want something extra special, contact me to set up the details. I am also more than happy to ship to an alternate address. This will save you from having to pay double shipping rates! Please add a note in the notes to seller area if you would like to take advantage of this. If the address you supply is different than your paypal address, I will double check with you, but it will slow the process down.

I will also be holding promotions, give aways, sales and contests through out the Season. Check back often!

September 1 will mark a very special event! But it will be a complete surprise, and I won't announce it until the night before. Please join my mailing list, it's at the top of the page. Please also join/monitor the following sites. The big sales will be announced on all of them. But I will also have smaller sales, and those will be rotated through the various venues. I may only announce a sale on my twitter account, then announce a give away at my community site.

Here are the various places you can follow to keep updated!

Ning Community: This is sort of like a cross between a blog and a website. Make sure to join and check back often
Website: Be sure to join!
My Artfire Shop: All of my products can be found in my shop.
Twitter: Be sure to follow in case of promos!
Facebook: Follow me easily on facebook

Check them out, sign up, and be ready for something special!

As always, thank you for reading.

Ambient Lights

Today, Ambient Lights rides the crazy train. Her studio is filled with goodies that look like they smell great. I'm drawn to the tarts most, I love burning tarts in fall and winter. That might be why I like these tarts: Balsam Berry. Sweet, fresh Balsam Fir with a hint of spiced cranberry.

This is a hair and body mist, filled with good things like aloe and vitamin E. The scent is violet woodland, "a classic beautiful fragrance...delightful violet top notes with a hint of orchids and fresh woodsy aromas." I love violet and it is extremely difficult to find violet scents that aren't too sickly sweet and smell vaguely like grape candy and scents that don't smell too green. I can't tell you why, but violet scents with a lot of green notes smells like marijuana on me. True story.

This is a gift set. Let me start by saying I love the picture. It's so cute! The scent is pink kisses (Aquolina type). The set consists of a bath pouf soap and a bottle of hair and body mist. These soaps are so unique. "Soap Poufs are made with high quality glycerin Goats Milk Hand and Body Soap and a nylon shower pouf. This soap is great by itself but I've added a couple more good for the skin oils such as castor oil and soybean oil, which contains natural vitamin E. Each Pouf is embedded in 3oz of soap and it lasts for a long time."

I'm addicted to lip balm. My lips are naked without it. And peach is one of my favorite lip balm flavors.

Moisturizing bath fizz.

There are more items in the shop, of course, and they are definitely worth browsing.
